UHPH Homogenization and Sterilization - The Ultimate High-Pressure Cold Processing Technology

Mnano's UHPH represents a novel dynamic ultra-high pressure homogenization and sterilization technology for beverages and fluid foods, achieving commercial viability while rivaling high hydrostatic pressure processing.

UHPH combines high pressure and temperature (utilizing extremely short treatment times to prevent degradation) for simultaneous fluid sterilization and homogenization. Processed products can be stored at room temperature for six months while maintaining optimal flavor and texture. Integrated with Mnano's 420MPa dynamic ultra-high pressure homogenizer-sterilizer, the system has been successfully tested on fruit juices, milk, plant-based protein beverages and other products with exceptional results. UHPH-treated products retain characteristics nearly identical to fresh products in terms of color, flavor, texture, and nutritional value, while achieving sterile stability. These products can be stored for extended periods at room temperature without quality degradation.

For juice and beverage sterilization, continuous ultra-high pressure processing achieves virtually no thermal damage. Testing shows UHPH-treated juices exhibit 100 times lower HMF (hydroxymethylfurfural, a heat damage indicator) compared to traditional pasteurization.

UHPH guarantees sterile products (with all logistical advantages) while preserving the nutritional and sensory qualities of fresh products. HPP (High Pressure Processing) cannot achieve the microbial reduction levels of UHPH.

Currently available UHPH machines can handle capacities from 40L/H to 270L/H, with maximum capacity reaching 5000L/H. Large-scale industrial solutions up to 20,000L/H are also available.
